PhD – Business Management (Information Technology, Supply Chain & Operations Management)

Dr Roberto Poles is currently Head of Product and Project Manager at an Australian software development company. He has a strong track record in designing process and information system improvements to increase productivity and efficiency while reducing costs. He also works as a business consultant, with proven experience in identifying and capitalising on business opportunities.

Following the successful completion of his PhD research in business information technology and logistics, Dr Poles had the opportunity to contribute to two additional projects involving Fuji Xerox Australia and CEVA Logistics. For these projects, he developed business process simulation models and optimisation procedures to investigate effective control strategies for operational activities.

His teaching areas include supply chain and procurement strategies, information systems integration, operations management, and project management.
