To qualify for the award, students are required to successfully complete the eight (8) core units, plus three (3) specialisation units listed below and one (1) elective from the provided options. This totals to 12 units which is equivalent to 96 credit points.

Applicants must be 18 years or older when they commence the course and meet one of the following admission criteria:

Successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree (AQF Level 7) or higher, awarded by a recognised university or higher education institution or its international equivalent, in any discipline; OR
Completed a postgraduate preparation program.

Applicants from a non-English speaking background must meet ONE of the following English language requirements:

IELTS Academic: Overall band score of 6.5 or higher, with a minimum score of 6.0 in writing and speaking; OR
TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 79, with minimum scores of 21 in writing and 18 in speaking; OR
Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): Overall score of 180, with minimum scores of 180 in writing and speaking; OR
Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE): Overall score of 176, with minimum scores of 169 in writing and speaking; OR
PTE Academic Module: Minimum overall score of 58, with minimum scores of 50 in writing and speaking.
