Mr Cameron was the Chief Operating Officer at the Australian Catholic University (ACU), where he was responsible for coordinating strategy and service delivery across a range of specialist administrative functions, including Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal Services, Planning, Properties and Secretariat.

He also served as Secretary to the University Senate and Company Secretary for ACU. He holds a Master of Commerce (Honours) from the University of New South Wales.
