APIC students have an advantage over other graduates. The Graduate Diploma and Master of Business and Project Management (Construction and Infrastructure stream) meet the necessary academic requirements for the Construction Project Manager occupation (ANZSCO Code 133111). Students who gain the APIC qualification and have at least one year of industry experience will be assessed as meeting the above category on the SOL list. Interested graduates can utilise their 2 year post study work visa to undergo industry training and fulfil the requirements for recognition as a Construction Project Manager.

The ECA Department of Recruitment and Professional Development (DRPD) provides assistance to all our students seeking internship, part-time or casual employment opportunities. DRPD has established links with over 150 host employers. Typically employers attend the campuses to interview and recruit students and graduates.
The DRPD's aim is to help students right from the start to prepare for employment challenges through participation in the DRPD's Job Preparation Workshop Program and other aids, to ensure the best outcome at interview.
