The Executive Diploma in Project and Program Management (ExDipPPM) is an executive grade qualification designed for accelerated learning for project and program management professionals.It aims to:
- Update and enhance the knowledge of the practising project management professionals with respect to project and program management
- Provide an accelerated pathway to learning project/program management fundamentals for newly appointed project managers
- Provide a good grounding for specialist professionals such as design engineers, architects, scientists, lawyers, teachers, health professionals and others who routinely work in project teams but have not had any formal grounding in project management
- Assist migrant professionals or expatriates who wish to train fast for improved job prospects
- Generally impart the best practice methodologies as advocated in recognised international standards such as PMIĀ“s PMBOKĀ® Guide
- Prepare individuals for PMIĀ“s PMBOKĀ® Guide testing
ExDipPPM is taught by a team of internationally renowned academics and leading practitioners. Thus, the ExDipPPM will blend academic and pragmatic approaches within a stimulating learning environment. You will have an opportunity to interact with other professionals and exchange ideas with them during the workshop sessions.
If you are an employer organisation and wishing to introduce a consistent training program then the ExDipPPM is probably worth evaluating. The reason is that ExDipPPM has been designed to cover the breadth of the project management field as well as give an introduction to program management. Course Structure
The Executive Diploma is awarded after completion of 4 modules, each 4 days long, selected from the list of Project Management modules (workshops) and subject to achieving a pass grade in each module. Modules (or workshops as commonly known) are designed as structured courses with a comprehensive set of slides and learning materials providing a holistic view of project and program management.

Executive Diploma in Project and Program Management (ExDipPPM)
ExDipPPM is an executive grade qualification designed for busy professionals who otherwise have no time to complete a formal academic qualification. Nevertheless the work done as part of completing ExDipPPM will contribute credit to completion of the formal degree programs in this field. For details contact our office.
Duration and Delivery Mode
The modules of the Executive Diploma in Project and Program Management are delivered face-to-face in workshop mode in our Sydney campus. We are happy to deliver this course at other locations subject to conditions and additional charges which vary from location to location. Note that it is not possible to study ExDipPPM via the online mode.
Executive Diploma can be completed in one month by attending and completing 4 consecutive models (workshops) in a given semester in our campus or studied over 2 semesters (one year) in any combination of modules.
Accreditation
ExDipPPM is an executive grade qualification that carries credit towards formal postgraduate degrees and diplomas at APIC. ExDipPPM carries 120 Professional Development Units of the Project Management Institute. Note that each module carries 30 Professional Development Units as well as 10 CPD points for the continued membership of the Australian Institute of Project Management.
