BMGP – SCM aims at developing a superior class of managers who have a sound foundation in general management with specialist knowledge and competency in supply chain management. The Supply Chain Management (SCM) is an emerging discipline whose importance has been recognised over recent years. It has assumed a central and strategic role in organisations. Successful SCM requires managers with broader managerial skills, and specific competencies in supply chain management to contribute to organisational objectives effectively. The BMGP – SCM is designed to develop specialist supply chain managers who understand the challenges of modern day business eco-systems and can manage complex relationships along the value chain. It is fully aligned with the dynamics of this field and embeds a situational leadership approach.
