APIC sees its role as that of bridging the divide between students and the world of industry and commerce. Our role is to support individuals to attain their full potential through our industry programs.

Disability Services

APIC's premises in Sydney are accessible to disabled students. APIC's staff are required to provide all possible support to those in need when attending workshops and other essential functions at APIC locations or venues designated for seminars, workshops and conferences. E-Library Services

APIC provides access to a comprehensive online library of journals and scholarly work to support the teaching and learning activities of the College. In addition we provide a comprehensive set of electronic learning materials in each unit of study, workshop and or short course.

We prescribe a limited number of textbooks and provide a large number of electronic learning resources on-line to all students across all units of study.

Integrated Learning System

APIC provides access to an integrated learning system through which students and staff can access APIC´s courseware, E-Library, ProQuest Library, competency assessment tools and other resources. It forms a core for APIC´s learning laboratory concept (LLC).

International Student Support

Services provided include:

  • Airport pick-ups and drop-offs (fees apply)
  • Assistance with visa processing (fees apply)
  • Assistance with homestay and shared accommodation placements
  • Counselling in the event of a critical incident
  • General advice and assistance (eg. eating and retail, financial institutions, places of interest, etc)

 

The above services are also available to local, professional and offshore students, where required.

IT Support

Every student is expected to have his/her own laptop. APIC has provided a number of access points at its Sydney Campus for accessing APIC’s integrated learning system and the Internet. Professional Assessment

If you would like to have professional assessment of your current competencies then consider enrolling in our Professional Development Planning (PDP) workshop (fees apply). Every professional person needs to realign his/her competencies regularly, particularly when there is a career shift or when there is a feeling of insufficiency in the face of the challenges.
